Microsoft IoT Expo 2016

Background

The Microsoft IoT Innovation Center was just established with the aim of combining Microsoft-related cloud products, cooperating with IoT partners, and providing the IoT industry model. It also provided a platform for the demand-side to coordinate with the relevant solution providers to promote the supply and demand of industries.

Solution

Integrated marketing communication strategy: Used different communication media such as internet, magazines, and newspapers to create a leading role for Microsoft Taiwan in the IoT industry.

Established exclusive commercial matchmaking software and system mechanism and applied them to the matchmaking talks on site. Set up the IoT application situation space at the scene and presented to the participants by ways of product demo and speech. Also, in combination with the MS AZURE system, the software and hardware analysis results, and application situation were displayed.

Results

The browsing number of the project in-depth interviews with the Global Views magazine reached more than 50,000 times in the two weeks after release. There were 17 countries, 384 enterprises and up to 20 talks related to new technologies and concepts on site. A total of 33 companies in the IoT field at home and abroad gathered products and services for participants to visit and discuss. During the two-day event, more than 50 matchmaking conferences were promoted, and up to 20 companies signed contracts for cooperation with each other in this project. The number of the participants for the two-day event totaled more than 1,700 persons.
