Client: IBM’s DeveloperWorks 2004
e21 assisted IBM's DeveloperWorks 2004 event in its planning and
execution. During the internal promotion period, the idea of MRT train lines
was used to model IBM’s 5 main product lines. An activity session was
organized in which participants who gave correct answers to questions received
prizes. On the day of the event, special Yo-Yo cards were made and integrated
with Yahoo Kimo’s back-end system to provide efficient transfer of
event information such as the number of participants at each session. These
cards were then given to participants as souvenirs. Overall, e21 received
excellent feedback from IBM for its ability to plan and organize an event
of this caliber.
In addition, e21 also helped IBM in planning its exhibition area for Computex.
During Computex, news of a deal between IBM PCD and Lenovo China leaked and
e21 was forced to react promptly in order to clear up the questions and concerns
of users. e21 was also responsible for setting up the VIP area in the second
floor of the Trade Center, which served as a place for clients to rest, discuss
business, shop for IBM products, and exchange free gifts. e21 received high
praise from both IBM and its customers for our event marketing in Asia and
organization efforts, which resulted in a substantial increase in IBM PC sales
at the conclusion of the event.
