Joseph Sun, Chief
Executive Officer
Joseph has molded e21 into a leader in integrated
cross-cultural marketing and e-business applications.
Joseph started e21 after more than ten years
as a software developer, vice president,
programmer, software project manager, project
director, and marketing director. His vision
for e21 combines comprehensive cross-cultural
marketing solutions with technological expertise
to provide clients with a full range of marketing
services. Under his leadership, e21has developed
an innovative mix of technology, creativity,
and strategic resources to serve both Fortune
500 companies and smaller, emerging enterprises
in both the US and Asia.
Joseph founded Automation Plus Inc. (API)
in Silicon Valley in 1989 to capitalize on
the emerging digital technologies that were
transforming the marketing communications
industry at that time. API grew throughout
the 1990's to become one of Silicon Valley's
leading high-tech agencies. Joseph then transformed
API into e21 in 2000 with the merger of MagicMedia,
based in Taiwan and China. He then acquired
e-business leader, eServiceOffice, to blend
database integration, customer relationship
management (CRM), and advanced Web development
into e21's marketing creative service mix.
Early on, Joseph recognized the enormous
potential of China and the need for a specialized
full-service agency to help US companies
penetrate the Asia market, and help Asian
companies market their products in North
America. Today, e21 has helped many major
IT companies - and other non-tech companies
such as Nike, Ford, and Christian Dior -
expand in Asia.
Joseph completed his BS in computer science
at Chico State University and his MS in electronic
engineering at Santa Clara University. He
graduated as a member of the prestigious
National Honor Society of Computer Science.
